Kata is the personal health coach you simply talk to. You tell it about your day, by chat, by voice or with a photo of your plate, and your words become structured health data: charts, plans and a memory that lives on your phone, not on our servers. The coach remembers everything; the company behind it can read nothing.
Kata is calm by design and Japanese in spirit: the name is 型, the form you practice until it becomes you. It is built and operated in Switzerland, where privacy is less a feature than a habit.

Founder

Roman Fritschi is the founder of Kata and managing director of BSNS GmbH, the Swiss company that builds and operates it.
He started Kata out of one conviction: health data belongs to the person it describes, on their own phone, not in someone else’s cloud.
He lives and works in Switzerland.
